With this page, we move from the 1970s into the 1990s. For some reason, throughout most of the late 1980s we didn't take too many pictures, so if you worked at the Roxy during that time and have pictures laying around, send them in and we'll put them here for all to see. (NOTE: All of the females on these pages will be referred to by their "maiden" names.) |

Michelle Mogen started work at the Roxy when she was still in junior high school, and like most of our crew members, she didn't quit until she graduated. This picture was taken in the late 1970s. |

For the 1982 movie "The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas," we decided to dress our employees up as dancehall girls. Amazingly, they agreed to wear these costumes. Ericka Swanson lived in Belfry. Her dad, Bill, was a teacher, so they spent summers on her grandparents' ranch near Forsyth. She worked at the Roxy for two summers. This picture is from 1982. |

It's always tough to lose good workers to high school graduation, but in 1992 we lost three at once: Keely Strong, Laurie Smith, and Andi Schulenberg. If you look close, you can see Mike panicking about training new workers. |
